Our support staff colleagues are on the front line Our support staff colleagues are on the front lines fighting for a college system that champions stable employment for support staff and faculty alike. Labour action brings people together in collective recognition of our shared struggle. That has never been more true for College workers than now. But strikes also bring hardship, uncertainty, and exhaustion. OPSEU Local 562 is committed to supporting our sibling union, OPSEU Local 563. We have their backs and they have ours. We've picketed and rallied together, and today we donated $15,000 to Local 563's hardship fund. Their fight is our fight, and our solidarity is the best weapon against the dismantling of Ontario's Colleges. #saveourcolleges

Brown said halting the EAP program communicates to students that the college is "giving up" on preparing newcomers for success. He says it's "gobsmacking" that George Brown isn't "exploring the possibilities"...
